Workshop participants in the classroom before heading out to the field
On May 11, 2013, John Jeavons hosted a one-day GROW BIOINTENSIVE Workshop as a benefit for the Waldorf School of Mendocino County. All proceeds after basic expenses from this workshop will go directly to the Waldorf School. The workshop was educational for both parents and aspiring farmers. A delicious lunch, served by Mendough’s Brick Oven Pizza and Kemmy’s Pies, was included in the admission price. The Waldorf School of Mendocino is a private tuition-based school, so this fundraiser is greatly appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to John and Cynthia Jeavons for their generosity to the community
