November 2004: Letter from John Jeavons

Newsletter Home

Dear Friends,

Many small organizations, and especially non-profits, are experiencing financially challenging times. Ecology Action, which has been fortunate in being able to effectively operate much of the time with a comparatively small budget for the significant amount of work being accomplished, is no exception to this current trend. Consequently, starting with this issue, we will be publishing an eight-page hardcopy edition of the Newsletter twice a year, in November and May. This edition of the Newsletter will include key reports about GROW BIOINTENSIVE sustainable mini-farming projects and programs in this country and around the world, the Research Garden Report, book reviews, and other interesting information. The additional pages you are used to reading, including Opportunities and other news features, will soon be appearing on our website, www.growbiointensive.org. We appreciate your understanding and patience with this change and look forward to any suggestions about how we can make the Online edition the most user-friendly for our readers.

Sincerely,

John Jeavons
Executive Director
