Latin American Soil, Food, &
People Conference
General Information
The Latin American Conference and the CULTIVE BIOINTENSIVAMENTEMR Workshop will be held in Costa Rica 2008, subject to funding.
The Latin American Conference will last three
days.
In Costa Rica's tropical rainforest it rains
almost everyday; therefore, you are advised to bring appropriate
clothes and insect repellent. During the two-day break and at
the end of the workshop EARTH University will be offering tourist
packages at very good prices to visit places of ecological interest.
Simultaneous interpretation services will be
available. English-Spanish and Spanish-English.
Conference Registration
The number of participants is limited to 200. Please be so kind
as to register in advance and as soon as possible. You can register
with Ecology Action, and if you do so up to two months before
the conference begins, you will receive a gift at the conference.
- The cost of the Conference
The above prices include registration, teaching
materials, food, lodging, internal transportation and transportation
from and to San José Costa Rica's airport. (Full details
will be sent to you upon registration.) See the Registration
page for more information.
Workshop Organization
During the CULTIVE BIOINTENSIVAMENTE Workshop the day's work will
be divided into classroom activities (theory) and field activities
(practice). The schedules will be decided on a day-by-day basis
depending on the weather. This is why the daily workshop topic
times are not included in the program and are only in groups of
activities.
